Little Women

Although not strictly a Christmas story, the classic novel Little Women opens at Christmas-time and is mostly set during a snowy Concord winter. This is my favorite novel to reread at Christmas every year. This PDF cross stitch pattern celebrates the March sisters and features just 3 colors of DMC floss. Stitched on 16/32 count fabric, it is a lovely size for a small pillow finish. Stitched on 20/40 count fabric, it is a charming size for an ornament finish. The overall pattern is 56 stitches wide by 83 stitches long. The small pillow was stitched on 32 count linen from Fortnight Fabrics in the color “Grandma’s Stuffing” and the ornament was stitched on 40 count line from Picture This Plus in the color “Wren.”
