The Misspelled Sampler is a faithful reproduction of an antique sampler stitched in 1821. The stitch count is 249 wide by 259 high. The model was stitched with 11 colors from Classic Colorworks, 1 color from Weeks Dye Works, and 1 color from DMC. A DMC conversion was carefully selected for each color for those wishing to use DMC or pull their own floss from stash. The model was stitched on 40 count linen from Fox and Rabbit in the color “Up in the Attic,” using one strand of floss over 2. Purchase includes a PDF file of the chart with a black and white and a color version.
